ince settling in Los Angeles, Benjamin Millepied has found the inspiration to launch his artistic venture with L.A. Dance Project. Millepied “ dreams of a fellowship of artists and a collective of creators, because dance is everywhere. A project centered around dance and everything it can represent today. ”

Whether on traditional stages or in more unconventional spaces, L.A. Dance Project breaks new ground by spotlighting the most influential choreographers in dance history. The company multiplies collaborations with both established and emerging artists—visual artists, musicians, designers, filmmakers, and composers—to create innovative platforms for contemporary dance.

More than just a dance company, this creative hub, envisioned as a collective, quickly made its mark with exceptional dancers and programs open to other artistic dimensions. Combining the virtuosity of modern classicism with contemporary energy, this collective is deeply rooted in our time.

Regular guests of the TranscenDanses series at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Benjamin Millepied and L.A. Dance Project return in 2019 with an entirely new creation.
