An initiative of Productions Internationales Albert Sarfati, which has always maintained close links with dance, the TranscenDanses series was born in September 2014 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Its guiding aim: to offer the widest possible audience access to high-quality dance in all its diversity.

For over ten years, season after season, TranscenDanses has firmly established itself as a key fixture on the Parisian dance scene. With over forty performances since its conception, the series has earned both critical acclaim and public enthusiasm, thanks to the richness and rigor of its artistic direction. From internationally renowned dancers and celebrated companies to emerging ensembles with undeniable talent, from iconic masterpieces to bold new works by acclaimed choreographers and promising voices, TranscenDanses honours dance in all its forms: past, present, and undoubtedly future.
