ABOUT THE SHOW
Since Benjamin Millepied moved to Los Angeles, he has found much inspiration for his artistic adventure with the L.A. Dance Project. Benjamin Millepied “dreams of companionship between artists and a collective of creators, because dance is disseminated everywhere. A project to show dance and all that it can represent today.”
On theatre stages and in more unusual venues, L.A. Dance Project has curated many collaborations with both established and emerging artists (visual artists, musicians, designers, directors and composers) to create innovative platforms for contemporary dance. More than just a dance troupe, this collective has emerged from the outset with exceptional dancers and programs to open up new horizons. Combining virtuosity of modern classicism and contemporary electricity, the company is deep-rooted in our time.
Regular guests of TranscenDanses at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Benjamin Millepied and the L.A Dance Project return in autumn 2019 with a special evening ; Made In L.A. Its objective: to show the Parisian public the creative best of the city of angels. Welcome to Los Angeles!
Transcendanses is a coproduction from Productions Internationales Albert Sarfati and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées
